Security Engineer Specialist‍

Salary Range: Up to THB 150,000

Report to: DevSecOps Lead‍

Job Description:  

Responsible for overseeing and implementing various security functions across governance, identity and access management, cloud security, application security, data security, and cyber defense. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in security architecture, compliance, threat monitoring, and endpoint management, ensuring the organization's security posture remains robust against evolving threats.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Governance & Advisory

• Adopt and maintain security strategies, policies, and frameworks according to SCBX group framework.
• Collaborate with risk teams to ensure enterprise security compliance.
• Support security awareness initiative

Cloud & Infra Security

• Manage cloud security posture and workload protection.
• Maintain network security solutions (FW/IDS/IPS, segmentation, NAC).
• Oversee DDoS protection, hardening, and patching.
• Deploy and monitor endpoint security and anti-malware solutions.
• Enforce mobile device management policies.

Application Security

• Adopt secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps practices.
• Conduct application security testing and assessments.
• Review API and microservices security.
• Manage container security and application firewalls.
• Implement and monitor application security controls.

Data Security

• Monitor data discovery and classification policies.
• Review and enforce data loss prevention (DLP) and tokenization measures.
• Manage encryption for data at rest and in transit.
• Oversee certificate and key management practices.
• Conduct data integrity monitoring and access audits.

Cyber Defense

• Remediate and coordinate security issue finding report from SCBX SoC such as bug bounty, ASM and security incident.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3 years or more of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with security architecture, IAM, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.
• Proficiency in security tools including SIEM, DLP, IAM, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, SDLC, and secure application development best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple security domains.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP,CISM, CEH, or Security+ are a plus.
• Good communication skills in English.
