FINNIX, a licensed nano-finance lending platform operated by MONIX Co., Ltd., member of SCBX Group, is expanding its financial education initiative under the theme “Money Fighters” as part of the “Money Wise, Happy Life” project. The move follows findings that consumers are seeking financial knowledge that helps them solve real-life problems rather than purely theoretical lessons. In response, FINNIX has restructured its online learning platform into four learning tracks covering debt management, cashflow management, income generation, savings and investment, with new courses set to be launched throughout the year to help Thais apply financial knowledge more effectively in their daily lives.
Despite growing awareness of saving and investing, many Thais continue to face financial vulnerabilities, including insufficient income, debt burdens, irregular earnings, lack of preparedness for their financial future, and increasingly sophisticated financial scams. These concerns align with findings from the Bank of Thailand’s 2024 Financial Literacy Survey Report, which revealed that 77.3% of Thais do not have sufficient emergency savings to cover six months of expenses, while more than 86% have either not made retirement plans or are unable to follow through with them. The findings underscore the continued importance of practical financial knowledge in helping people navigate everyday financial challenges.
According to FINNIX, the more relevant question today may not be whether people understand financial concepts, but whether they know how and when to apply that knowledge in real-life situations. Lessons learned from FINNIX’s “Money Wise, Happy Life” initiative indicate that learners are most interested in topics that directly affect their daily lives. Debt management courses have attracted the highest levels of interest, while basic financial literacy courses have achieved notably strong completion rates. The trend suggests that learners are not looking solely for financial theory, but rather practical, easy-to-understand content that can help them address the challenges they currently face.
At the same time, FINNIX has observed that users today expect more from financial service providers than access to loans. Increasingly, they are looking for knowledge, tools, and support that can help them navigate life’s challenges more effectively, particularly in developing financial skills, which have become an essential life competency.
Based on these insights, FINNIX developed the “Money Fighters” concept under its ongoing financial literacy “Money Wise, Happy Life” project. The initiative builds upon the company’s broader “Life Fighters” concept, which recognizes that everyone faces challenges in life and aims to help people access financial knowledge that is more closely connected to the situations and decisions they encounter in their everyday lives.

A key change to the online learning platform is the shift from a topic-based approach to a life-situation-based learning model, allowing learners to choose content that is more relevant to their personal circumstances. The revamped platform is organized into four learning tracks:
- Debt Fighters:Outsmart Debt, Spend Wisely
- CashflowArmor: Financially Ready, Resilient in Life
- IncomeFighters: More Opportunities, More Income
- SavingFighters: Save Smart, Build Your Future
Alongside the platform upgrade, FINNIX has launched four new courses across the four learning tracks, covering key topics including navigating financial threats in the digital era, managing personal finances amid irregular income, investing in personal development to unlock new earning opportunities, and developing effective savings strategies for first-jobbers. Additional courses are scheduled to be introduced throughout the year in response to changing consumer needs and learning behaviors.

Ms.Thiranun Arunwattanakul, Chief Operating Officer of MONIX Co., Ltd., said, “FINNIX believes that everyone is a fighter in their own way, and that financial challenges remain one of the most significant issues people face today. Many financial problems are not caused solely by a lack of income, but also by alack of knowledge and the right tools to make informed decisions. That is why we developed the ‘Money Fighters’ concept as a learning space where people can access knowledge that is relevant to their needs at the moment they need it most. This transformation of our online learning platform is not just about adding more courses. It is about redesigning the learning experience so it is more closely connected to people’s everyday lives. It also represents another important step in our ‘Life Fighters’ concept, which aims to stand alongside people throughout every stage of life. During the second half of this year, FINNIX plans to continue roll out projects and activities designed to support people across multiple aspects of their lives.”
In a world where financial decisions have an increasingly significant impact on quality of life, financial literacy is no longer only about saving and investing. It is a life skill that enables people to manage debt, control income and expenses, create new earning opportunities, and plan confidently for the future. Ultimately, being a “Money Fighter” is not about having more money than others, but about having the knowledge and tools needed to make better decisions when life demands them most.
